The Sixt ski area is linked to the Grand Massif (265km of downhill ski slopes) via the spectacular Piste des Cascades, a blue run stretching 14km from Flaine (1,700m vertical drop). In summer, hikers can criss-cross the vast Natural Reserve of Haute-Savoie and gain access to the 5 refuges in the village. Le Cirque du Fer à Cheval, La Cascade du Rouget and Les Gorges des Tines feature among the must-see sites.
